I may be late on this whole smiley face - voting thing that is an option on the Google toolbar. But does this actually work? Or, could it actually work against you if someone didn't like your site and kept voting it down? I figure it doesn't carry much weight but I thought I would see if any one else had any thoughts on this.

So I'll take that as a no. Since I've got no responses I'm asuming this is just a fun option on the toolbar and does nothing for getting Googl's attention. Please post any thoughts.

Currently it does nothing exept send the information to google. This does not however effect your search engine rankings in any way.

Since it dose send information to google, why are you so sure that google will not take it as a count that helps google rank a site?
