As DavidTodd noted in the previous thread the Google update has began!

Good luck everyone!

I just checked it and my site was indexed by google on 12/30 right after midnight. Hopefully everything worked fine because my web host was having some major problems that night.

the Google update should now be complete. Having checked google-dance.com it would appear that the server listings have migrated from www2.google.com to www.google.com - thus completing the update.

on first impressions, i've suffered this crawl. I changed lots of my site, in fact, the entire layout and content! so it will take a couple of months for me to score some good rankings. this will be a slow month...

I've actually shot up the rankings by including certain search term / keywords in my <title> which I believe Google adds more weight to rather than other meta data, html etc.
