The webmasters tool is not showing the current screenshot. Neither the clicks and impressions are getting updated there.

The website is showing in the Google search results, most probably due to, my personal searches.
The site preview in the results shows - the site under construction.

The cached copy shows - the current site.

Extremely confused.

Even the site description in the search results is the current one.

PageRank

page rank is where your document URLs appear in the results, and it's also pretty useless checking those as well.

Sorry Actually i am too much obsessed with ranking my page higher because it is an entry to a competition. The competition entries will be judged on the basis of Article Quality, Look and Feel of Webpage And SEO.
It's gonna be judged on July 2.
That's why i was trying to get an idea for ranks in different countries.

That's why these "SEO competitions" are a totally stupid and ridiculous idea.

They pander to ALL the misconceptions and stupidity there is about optimising and marketing, and are there PURELY and SIMPLY to further the aims of the "sponsor", nobody learns anything of any use and they get some free publicity.

In Google, you can search simply with this code "site:your domain name" either download seoquake and there is option for check by the given name google index. it will shows your that your site is index or not.

Or you could just Google the domain of your site????

Search “cache:the website url” in Google. It would show the date indexed.

You can check your site page rank by Google toolbar.

you can also check that either your website is indexed in Google against some particular keyword by... your-site-name.com:your-keyword..

Check Google by typing your website name in the search box with the word "site:" before the url.

Example: site:Your Site Name. If it shows up in the result, it means that Google has indexed your website.

you will just type your website and if there's an existing and you can try to check it well.

Great and I must say that its replies are much more interesting to know but I didn't get myself inside of these threads but yes type in google site:Your Site Name to know weather your site is indexed or not.

You can submit your url and sitemap on Google webmaster tools, then you can clearly know that how many of your sites being index. Beside that you also can know when your site been index and when is the your page last index by Google.
