We are working to give the best SERP results and had a question for everyone. If, for example, you search 'samsung' in google, the first result is several samsung links, 7 to be exact. Then the next result is 'en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samsung'.

Do you want your SERP results to show the wikipedia site as 2nd, or 8th in the search results?

My vote is for it to be 2nd, because the others are grouped together as one results and not necessarily higher than wikipedia individually, but google is grouping them together to show a variety of links for the #1 slots domain.

Please let me know what you think, so I can parse accordingly.

Ok, all's quiet, so we went with not listing additional links that google sometimes groups with the #1 SERP domain. Check out our SERP tool in our signature and let us know what you think.

I think you should put the Wikipedia link higher up, that way we know where to find it and know that other sites are below that.

That really depends on WHY someone would be searching for "samsung" doesn't it.

Are they looking for the company website specifically or is it just for general information? so the order I want one day might be different to the order I would prefer on a different day because I am searching for a different reason.

When you are trying pre-empt/second guess human behaviour there is no right or wrong way.
