I have a serious issue with my website rankings. The link is in my signature for oregon photographs. I tweeked my copy a about two months ago and I got a pretty good ratings change from 3rd to 2nd. But then I added a bit of stuff to the home page and changed the overall home page appearence. Theses were really minor changes. My site dropped to #39
Is it my content or are there some new penalties involved with links that I am unaware of.
There are about 1100 pages that link to this page. 86 of them show up on Google's backlink count up from the 83 that were there before. Most of the links say "Oregon photographs" and have some kind of description.
In short there is more content and more before but my rankings plumitted.
I am thinking it is mostly on site content that is screwing me up the outbound links are toward the top of the page now and I moved the body to the side of the page vs content then links.
I want to release a new verison of this site pretty soon and I need some SEO oreiented design ideas. Can anyone help me out a bit?
