Hi everyone!

We are going to move our existing site onto a new domain. I've been reading over the past few months that 301 redirect is the way to do it (right?).

Does anyone have any (or links to any) suggestions or guidelines before starting this process and keeping everything search engine friendly???

The front page on our existing site is hit daily by google, and subpages about every 2 weeks... using 301, in oooooo lets say the .htaccess, will all the search engines immediately see the new domain? (i know it will still take a while to show up in search results)

Looking for advice/suggestions/comments from other people that have done this before!!!

redirect 301 http://www.olddomain.com/ http://www.newdomain.com/
