Hey, i wanted to know what image size is small according to google. I've got few images that link to other sites and i want them to be really small. So i wanted to know what would be an optimal size (in the minimum range) so that google dosent declare it a spam.

Also is it possible to put invisible links on the webpage and have google crawl it?

Invisible links are very effective method of being awarded a penality from Google. Any type of link that is on the site purley for ranking purposes and not designed for the end user is in danger of receiving penalaties.

Come up with some good quality content and backlinks. Like james said if it isn't designed for the end user then you are definitely in danger of recieving penalities. i read somewhere that something like 2/3 of all the websites out there have been blacklisted. clearly they don't mind blacklisting people so why would you want to take a chance? why not submit the pages you want crawled to google?

I'd say somewhere around 16 x 16 (small icon size). Monkey, do you by any chance remember where you got that 2/3 figure from? That seems a bit high, even given all the spammers out there.

It seems too high. Do not take a chance with hidden links. Why not just place a normal link?

They consider hidden links as Spam, madmonk. Do you need verification of that, or will you take my word for it?

Why even bother placing the image/links on the page if you dont want them there in the first place?

My point was about the graphics. If you link to a site and use a 1 by 1 picture as the anchor then this is what we call invisible linking. I don't think you read the original question properly.
