How long does a newly registered website be listed in Goolge (with high PR link)?

Dear all,
I have registered a new domain name a week ago and then got it linked with a PR6 site the second day. It has been 7 days now. My site did not listed in Google.
Anyone get any ideas on this delay?

There could be many reasons but if all is OK with the link just wait.

With regard to waiting times it does not matter about the PR of a link and has more to do with the amount of links that point to the page where your link is on (the higher amount of links = more chances of Googlebot visiting quickly).

Post the link in your signature here. Google and many other engines will find it quickly.

Get as many links as you possibly can. Submitting your site for AdSense and other Google programs is a good way to get listed quickly.

I have posted my site to many directories, its nice tool to gather backlinks as well as SERP (i think) , http://www.blueangels.net is nice one to insert your site...
