hi, i submitted my new domain (subdomain actually) page i think on monday to google, and i then put a lot of links to my site on popular sites. my site comes up on google where i put the links, but it doesnt come up on a search for the site itself http://oddnerdrum.info . i was wondering how long it might take to index? it usually indexed fast for my other domain that has been around for a long time, but since this is a subdomain of that shouldnt it index faster? i was just wondering if there is a time for new domains to be indexed and what i can do to speed up the time. any help greatly appreciated. thanks. derek (also, did i use the term "odd nerdrum" so many times on my page that i will get penalized for it? thanks)

Submitting does nothing useful. Getting links will to the page/site will get it indexed.

No you won't get penalised. Well not unless you repeat the words several thousand times.

The time can vary, you just need to keep getting more links to your site like Chris said.

you can also try creating and submitting sitemap.. and of course the usual link building really makes a difference..

you should wait a little more and build quality links.

http://oddnerdrum.info this site is definitely indexed. To get your sub domain indexed faster you can for the time being put a direct link from your Home Page to the Sub Domain.

Don't worry about submittion, just worry about writing articles and adding backlinks.

Well, after submitting to google you need to build at least a few quality links too and if it's a subdoamin so this doesn't mean that it will index earlier you need to submit it to top bookmarking site that will work in terms of quick indexing. And it will take around one week or more depending on various factors to index a new site.

And also as CHRISCRIST said using a word again and again may not be cause of ban until unless you repeat it thousand times.

Try bookmarking and article submission.

I agree! Creating a sitemap helps your sub-pages or inner pages get index. Deep linking also helps.

it happens with new sites, google takes some time, you are not penalised, just wait for some more time.
