Google Traffic reduced drastically... HELP

I don't think it has something to do about hacking. Hackers got into their site and installed malicious scripts which can drop Google rankings automatically? Interesting theory...

Hosting24 it can happen. I am not sure if you are aware of. Around two months back it happened to one of my client's reputed website. It was hacked by malicious software and had put pornographic content into the website for which the site was banned and an information note was send to us citing the reason for the same.

Its really interesting....

Seo is a continued work, when you rank first on google that doesn't mean you should stop. Plus your PR is not always a basis for serps ranking and vice versa.

Most possible reason of dropping your traffic is obviously drop in ranking. When you site will rank well it will again get good traffic And Changes in PR effects only while PR updation process.

Yes Daniel it was.But now after removing the malicious content and sending request for re inclusion the site is back to its position after 2 months of time.
