Hello, this is my first post in this forum.

I made a webpage and put analytics code there. And filterd my ip aadress, becouse i dont want that GA counts my own visits. And it worked.
But my webpage is hosted at freewebs.com and when i go to my webpage through their "view my site" button, then GA still counts my own visit. Any solution?

And other problem is that, when i test my webpage with keywords, then GA counts the searches (keywords) that i made. I want that GA dont count my keyword search testing. How to fix that?

Those are no big problems, but GA would be even better if those things could be fixed.

Sorry for bad english language.

Yeah, don't use the view my site button

With a new site analytics are just slightly better than worthless.. Your own visits are such a huge percentage of the traffic you get that it's skews all the stats.. Just forget about it until you have more traffic to offset your own visits..

I have to agree. If your own visits are enough to skew things then you really aren't getting enough traffic for it to matter all that much. It should be easy enough to recognize your own visits too and discount them.

You may also want to consider paid hosting. If you're serious about your site, which I assume you are given you're using Analytics, then it's worth spending a few dollars a month for hosting.

I think you need to restart your account or Re-edit your analytics project with it.

I agree with vangogh...get paid hosting if you are serious about your website at all. A free hosting account will just hold you back.

I also agree that your stats are rather unhelpful until you build up some meaningful traffic.

It is easy enough to not click the 'view site' button and not click on your own site in the search engines.

Use other tools like Statcounter (you can filter your own IP address when using this tool), Awstats and more.

Hope it helps.

I think you just need to ignore your visit, don't count it. I also encounter that and I'm using the same thing. I just visit my site couple of times.
