As the title suggests, how long did it take for your site to be indexed by Google?
My forum got into Google within only a few weeks of submission, but not all the pages are index yet. I have heard of other people's sites taking months to get in.

2 days, by pure luck

I never manage to track that because when I plan to have new site I make them into my sigs on the forums I am active and then by the time I am ready doing things the site is already in Google index but if you ask for some of the content on my site then it does not take more than couple of hours

If you have a link to your website in signature when you post in the forum...Google (and the other Search Engine) will come to your site very quick.
There are a lot of contents in forum and many people visits forum and Google will crawl the forum very regularly and your link will somehow be pick up by Google.
You site could well be pick up in less than a day.

Couple of hours thats great. Seems to me that google bot love your websites. My one website is still not indexed by google after two months and now I am realising that this domain could have been banned.

Because I got it from one of my friend.

It took me 24h to index my blog

when I submit my new sites, it takes 5-10 days to be displayed on google.

Try to ping also your site. This could also help in indexing a site in short time.

google will index those pages but not all specially those content rich file

Googlebot can process many, but not all, content types. For example, we cannot process the content of some rich media files or dynamic pages

It took my first blog 4 days. I have a new blog now and it took 2 days, I had it added on my Google webmaster account.

I have absolutely no idea.
It's not that I cared, though...

You are right there Decaf.... and why are you having a hard time with the signature thing... putting signature is so easy with the use of keywords not the url.

3 days and I will like to say that you must never submit a new site trough google submission or other search engine cuz this could turn into your site not been indexed for 6 months or more, the best tip to get indexed fast is to get high page rank links fast
