My sites seems to have been crawled by the google bot. Apart from my index.php is there any reason for this? I was kinda hoping it would pick that up as it is the most optimised for my keywords. suggestions?

Have you submitted Google sitemap? Try building more links to ur home page

Is your website new? Just wait few day. Till then increase the backlinks of your website. Add useful pages of your website to the popular social bookmarking and participate in the forums. Don't forget to add the link of your websites in the signature. These are also helpful in indexing.

create a sitemap xml and html so that google will easily crawl every pages of your site.

Try to Start Link Building and Generate sitemap and Submit Sitemap In Google webmaster tools.

I suggest you build more backlinks on dofollow sites,blogs and forums. If the backlinks are from frequently crawled sites - the bots will find your links, then submitting sitemaps ensure that bot can have all the links at a time and can crawl according to the links.
