I have researched and my site isn't banned by Google, it comes up in searches and I have other sub pages that have actual page rankings but my index page shows a blank, grey bar and says "No Page Rank Available". The site has been up for 6 months and should have some page rank info even if it's zero.
I'm banging my head against the wall ova hee'ah. I don't understand how some of my pages are ranked but my main index isn't. I have some great quality sites linking to my index with optimized anchors (PR6 and PR7 sites) but my page still doesn't show ranking in the Google bar.
I know this is just 1/100th of the factors that Google actually uses to index and rank your site and people say that the PR ranking is pretty much nothing but my problem is outside the realm of SEO. I know how to optimize a site and how to get pages on top of search engines. My problem is the lack of credibility that potential customers might feel regarding my site.
If I didn't know or care about SEO and I visited someone's site then I would assume that PR was a measure of credibility and not some ranking Google assigns based on links, etc. So if one of my competitors has a PR3 and I have no page information available they are going to go buy from the PR3 site instead of mine because they'll think that they're more legit. Does that make sense?
The page is www.colorprintusa.com and you'll see how there's no page rank available. But when you do a Google search it shows up and also shows other pages that are indexed. I just can't figure it out.
Anyone have any insight or experience this issue before?
