Directory helps to increase site in Google?

also instead of paying for a directory, there are many free directories out there that are do follow.

depends what page rank they have....looking at my stats some of the links I paid people do do get 0 hits a month, where as others give me hundreds!

My final word on this would be, don't rely on directory submission alone. It should only be part of a broader link development strategy.

what do you mean to increase site? Maybe you want to get high rankings in google. Directory alone is not enough. You need to do other submission or link building techniques to get good position in the serp.

Directory link is slightly less value compared links from same niche
