If you clicked on this thread looking for real information, I'd highly recommend reading some of Aaron Wall's work on SEOBook.com. He just wrote an article titled What is a #1 Google Ranking Worth?. If you aren't subscribed to his feed, you need to do it right now. If you're looking for information on SEO, he's probably the most well-researched SEO that I've come across. He doesn't get into hype or buzzwords, he actually does testing and number crunching. I'm fairly confident that I wouldn't be the only one on this board to recommend his work, either.

For April Fool's Day next year, I think Google should "update" everyone's PR to 0. Then on April 2, they should leave it that way.

Don't eliminate it - I just got the latest Google Toolbar and mine goes to eleven - which means its one louder than everyone elses.

Even if someone has PR 10; where can they go from there? What I do is push my site a little further to 11. One louder.

What might be even funnier is if Google changes the color of the bar to red. I can just imagine the flood of frantic emails and forum posts.
