can anyone shed any light on this for me?

I have submitted my site to google with no problems and it has been on there for around a month or so.
It is showing nearly all my pages exept my home page.

I have tried everything twice and all seems well I just dont understand why.

Submitting your site to any major search engine is pretty much a waste of time.. What you need is links pointing at your website.. Without links you won't be going far in Google..

Yup! also submit it to directories and do some link exchange it will your site to get on the SERP.

Submitting to Search engines is waste of time, Get some quality links, from some social media sites, you can get your site indexed in hours.
