Yep
There's all kinds of cool symbols you can make:

There's probably more out there too, like cyrillic symbols, greek symbols, etc.

I can't seem to get the square root symbol to work. alt + 2 is apparently a keyboard shortcut for the StumbleUpon toolbar. I'll have to turn that off first.
What other cool symbols do we have access to?
By the way isn't imaginary PR the same as Toolbar PR and isn't irrational PR a description of how most people look at PR in general?

© is 1069. You have to hold down the alt key and type the sequence on the numeric keypad. If you have a laptop, you probably need to use the fn button.
What version of Stumble are you using? It's ctrl+f11 for me.
My pr is 18 ^ -4/3 ... beat that. Negative fractional exponents; you can't beat something you can't understand. I think you can simplify it to a cube root, though.

Alt + 2 was to submit a review on a thumbs down or something like that. It wasn't to turn the toolbar on and off, but for one of the features within. I guess it was taking control. I turned it off, but I think I need to restart Firefox before the change takes effect.

Steve, check out my link in post 24, lots of cool symbols there
I also think there's more if you go to start > programs > accessories > system tools > character map
Although I don't know what exactly the keys to access them would be. I think it might give you select character input in the corner of the new window, although it may be different for some OS's.

You're right about imaginary PR, but irrational PR is more along the lines of the reasoning of the PR itself that no one understands and goes against all logic. So the people who use irrational PR could be considered the makers of the PR's Irrational Toolbar calculations itself, IMO.

I think I understand this one, if I remember my calculus class correctly.....
a negative exponent inverses the whole number, so you get 1 over 18 ^ 4/3. Then 18 ^ 4/3 = 18 ^ 1 1/3. After that you divide the fraction and raise the exponent to given number. Put that all over 1 and you get PR of 0.0003 something
Maybe I should have been paying more attention in my calc class

Try your other browser then, unless you have your SU toolbar installed on both IE and FF (or whichever other one you're using).

It's the character code you're typing out. Alt plus the numeric keyboard has worked since the DOS days, when everything was utf-8. Hitting ctrl+A gets you character 1; ctrl+z types out what used to be an end-of-file marker. 27 is escape, but we don't have a key for that.
You can type a lot of different numbers and get symbols that have almost nothing to do with the numbers, still doing alt+ the numeric keypad. My pr = n², ¼ of it to my home page; you should use ¶ tags for semantic meaning. ¿Make sense? Most of what you'll get has to do with internationalization.
Character encoding:
Quote:
Examples: The Unicode character U+00A9 = 1010 1001 (copyright sign) is encoded in UTF-8 as
11000010 10101001 = 0xC2 0xA9

James probably gave a better explanation ... this is just all the boring detail.

Well the second PR update for the year just happened last thursday on the 28th.Seems Google is revamping it's image of not conducting updates on a regular basis. There were only three updates for PR last year and 4 the year before so to have a couple of updates in a couple of months is really quite good. What I feel from this update is that it has been done with a complete different algorithm. As for me this time I was Unlucky, not only did I loose my backlinks my PR too decreased. If there is anyone who has any significant proof of this update kindly share it with us here. Here is a table for the last update.
