Ahum, 'lots' will not do the job if the engine assimilate it to spam. This and the fact that a text should be easy to read... Somewhat more and also breaking into more paragraph with a title in bold for each with the relevant keywords could give he same result without risking a penalty for spamming.

First you have to optimize your site according to search results and Domain Age.
If you have a new site then don't compete with highly Competitive keywords.

second optimize your site for Yahoo/MSN first not for Google.
after you index your site in Yahoo/MSN it will take less effort to rank in Google.
Gain Back Link form Highly Relevant sites.

Well.........yahoo and msn takes too long to index a site in comparison to google. You do not need to optimise seperately for yahoo, msn and google.......but do it in write manner like first go through on-page optimisation and then offpage.

So your saying its pointless even trying to create a new site all then as EVERYTHING on the net is now competative. We may all just as well log off now then and go walk the Dog or something...

If you want to rank well for highly competitive keywords then be prepared for a long journey and plenty of hard work your competitors may have been established for years.
