There's not one that takes up 90 % of market share, like Windows. MySQL gets a lot of use in the open source world; SQL Server is pretty heavily used in a lot of Microsoft solutions and shops; Oracle gets all kinds of use, too. Other than MySQL, none of these are cheap.
The better question is what you need to do, and what database would suit your needs?
