Losing mysql tables

I have a very big community web site. Since two weeks I`m loosing a part of mysql tables inside my database. They just seem to drop and delete themselfs. I have restored them 5 times since then. I realy would like to know what couses the tables to dissapear.

someone deletes them. i've never heard of such an occurance.
