.... a good cgi script that will take the data from a web form and

(a) check it for required fields (and ideally cross check for mistakes in email address)
(b) post it to a mysql database
(c) and send a copy by email to a number of addressees?

Need something that a dumb critter like me can handle, and that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

I don't know whether any cgi scripts available or not.

You can check out this PHP script
http://freshmeat.net/projects/inphorm/

Also try your search at http://www.phpclasses.org for more PHP related stuff.

Thanks, I appreciate I am in unfamiliar territory, but well, I checked out inPhorm, and WOW, I think I need to get a Doctorate in PHP before tackling that one. I know its a BETA, but help!

Thanks anyway, I am grateful for the suggestion, but I'm nowhere near that level of understanding with PHP....
