Hi

wen i try looking up the status of mysql from my local machine by typing in "mysqladmin status" in cmd promt i get the following error message

mysqladmin: connect to server at 'localhost' failed
error: 'Access denied for user 'ODBC'@'localhost' (using password: NO)'

y do i get this plz help me

Try this:

myqladmin -u USERNAME -p status

Replace USERNAME with your mysql username and enter your password when prompted.
