Hi all

I am completely new to the database thing and to PHP so if someone could help that would be great. I have a website which is running on HTML and would like to put all pages into database in order to run search bars and drop down tables now my host has a MySQL available for me but when I try to use it I have not got a clue what to do. It keeps asking me to set up tables, values etc What I need to know is is this basic stuff I will need to know or could someone explain it quite easily for me.

You are going to need to learn some basic stuff, most of it is fairly simple.
I suggest that you invest in a book on php & mysql.

Yeah a good book to start with is "PHP and MySQL for dummies". If you are just getting started it is pretty easy reading and rather informative.
