Is there to make the function CURRENT_TIMESTAMP() return the current timestamp in accordance with the Time Zone GMT in SQL???

like the PHP function gmdate(); but in SQL format, anyone?

Hiya,

Check out MySQL DATE_TIME Functions - for details of what MySQL can and cannot do.

Then have a read of this article, which highlights some "problems" with these functions.
