Hey everyone, I have a site that is showing the below error below.

I don't understand how to fix the issue.

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'sho0919301090251'@'97.74.144.205' (using password: YES) in /home/content/b/r/i/briangxg2/html/shopxbid/home/configuration/configure.inc.php on line 7
Access denied for user 'sho0919301090251'@'97.74.144.205' (using password: YES)

I received an auction.sql in my software purchase and I loaded everything just fine in my FTP but it gives me the above message. What exactly do I need to do? I have a GoDaddy, Linux PHP 5.0 account. I understand I may have to create a datebase to import the auction.sql maybe? After that I am lost.

All help appreciated. I am available for yahoo, AIM, MS, and Skype. Just ask for contact details and we can talk.

Thanks again.

Is the database name, user, and password correct?

ah, you probably got one of those scripts where you have to manually dump the information from a particular .sql file to MySQL through PHPMyAdmin

So let me ask you: when you installed your script, did it manually create the database for you? and, Do you see an entire database through PHPMyAdmin that shows a whole series of tables and rows pertinent to the installation of the software itself?

if not, you may need to manually create said database by dumping that data to MySQL

---

in the event that that doesn't do the trick, i'm more than willing to bet NullPointer is right on with the user/pass suggestion.
