I have two separate mysql databases containing tables having identical table names. I want to move some of the tables from an older db and move them over to the new db. however because there are so many tables, I don't want to manually do a drop add. Is there an easier (quicker) way of doing this?

Maybe, maybe not.

but based on the information available, if anyone gives a definitive answer they would be lying!

What's the criteria for keeping any record.
The table names might be the same, but is the structure identical.
How would data conflicts be resolved.

Plus a hundred other questions.
