I have old version of PhpMyadmin and would like to setup utf-8 coding type for my database. Now coding type is set by default and when I try to display database data they are coded improperly. Is any way to change coding type in phpmyadmin?

At the place to enter SQL
Code:
ALTER TABLE tbl_name CONVERT TO CHARACTER SET charset_name;
