LOL! I just read my thread subject "How can I created a database like this?"

My brain is not functioning today!

This site http://combatrec.com is a database of professional fighters. You go there, enter a name and their stats come up wins/losses/draws along with a list of each of their fights. The person they fought's name links to the stats on that particular person. I have no idea how this site got so much information!

I want to make a database like this but instead of professional boxers or mixed martial artists, I want to create a database of people who compete in brazilian jiu jitsu tournaments. I just don't know where to start.

The hard part is getting the information. Ideally someone else has compiled all the information for you and you'd either buy the database or even better they'd give it to you for free. If no one else has compiled all that data then you have to do it yourself.

I'm not sure where all the info might be recorded, but I suspect it's recorded somewhere.

I tried search a little to see if I could find anything, but came up empty. Though oddly enough I did find this thread in the results at Google.
