Hello,
Im sorry that i am not a proffesional web designer and only in charge of a gaming clan but i have a question.
I have been using php-fusion for the last couple of months and started to like it then had the idea of doing a mass overhaul on my site. what i have now is the original site skimmed down to lierally the forums and a kind of long winded set of register forms i made myself . then i have a sub site for each of the games we play so 7 fusion sites in all. but what i would like is that users register on the main site (registration links on all sub sites will lead there) and then automatically become members of the sub sites. i had a look thru fusion and becuase im not a strong coder thought maybe i would go back a step to the mysql tables. my main site is here http://exfgames.com/news.php and the site i am currently working on to get it to work is http://bf2.exfgames.com for the battlefield 2 team. these 2 sites i have installed on the same database (the others are on seperate databases at the moment) when u install fusion you put in the table prefix so the main site is fusion_ and the bf2 site bf2_ therefore the tables with the user login and password etc are "fusion_user" and "bf2_user" i have managed to insert the info into the bf2 one from the main site but i want it to be automatic. is there a way i can do this? my background with mysql is that i opened phpmyadmin today and had a play around with it, i managed to backup my site db then clear it and reinsert it all again. (newbie i know) mysql version is 4.1.22 and i wouldnt know how to update it? i have control of my site thru cpanel. please could somebody try to talk me through doing this?

Many thanks for taking the time to read this and i hope you can help.

Not a database issue.

find all references to the user table in one set of scripts and hardcode it to refer to the other one.
