i'm designing a anime site for some friends and on the site they want a card database, the only problem is i don't really know where to start. I want the database be two separate menus *card set,and then cards in set, and then pic of the card that the user clicks on* Can anyone help me out or give me a guide to doing this.

ok well first of all obviously you would need a host with mysql. you will first have to create the actual mysql database with whatever name you want, but remember it. it'll be needed in whatever script you make or use.

the control panel or phpMyAdmin will have the abilities to add tables inside of your mysql database. the tables is what you call menus i believe. from there you can add fields whatever data you want to store. you'll either need to manually insert them or create a php script with forms or something to pass the data over to add information to the tables.

if you don't know how to code php you can try going to www.php.net and learning something or using good. good luck.
