mysql from windows to unix

Hi,

ive developed my site on localhost using mysql / apache / php4.x and would like to upload it soon to my hosting company which is unix based how would i do it? The site runs on joomla 1.0

If you have cPanel you can save your Joomla DB and then import into your new Linux site if that also has cPanel.

If you're asking about the SQL or PHP code, neither should require any changes when you move to a different O/S.

If you are looking to move your database over from Windows to Linux. The best bet would be to script the database in an export and run the script on the new server to import it.
