Well. personally, I'd say you could give the author a bit more credit.
He is really good, and deserve it.

This is true that this designer allow anyone to take thsoe layouts and redistribute/alter/use them at their will.
I was not implicating that rnwebhosting stole anything, as for what I've seen, he don't have.
It's just my opinion that the web site could make a bit clearer where those layouts are coming from.

If this is true, it's highly unethical, and likely a violation of the license agreement. The person who actually built the content rnwebhosting is making money on probably wants to be attributed for their work, and probably put this as a requirement in their license. I don't know whether this is the case or not without knowing who created the templates.

And I'm not going to click an ad-laden site with no original content - that's one of the newer definitions of spam.

Are you saying that ignoring this very reasonable request in order to make money ( wouldn't collect ad revenue if users knew the source URL ) on someone else's work is ethical? You're right on the legal part, as per the license agreement, but legal and moral are different questions.

I have just created a place where many templates have been collected from different websites, all have the agreements in the zip file and all have links in the readme file to where the template came from.

So in fact is free advertising to the template creater! because when people see the link to the readme file there going to click it. There are loadz of different templates from different designers. So i dont know why tripy keeps bringing up the http://andreasviklund.com/templates/ ones!!!
