Nice. I'm actually able to get gmail now since my phone does have a browser, but it's another step forward in what we can do with our phones.

I thought about using my phone to check email but didn't really want to pay the extra monthly fee to T-Mobile for internet access.

It would probably work better if I had a Treo like you do. My cell phone's screen is to small.

I'm paying an extra $15/month for internet access on the phone. I've only had the phone for a little while and haven't used the internet on it much, but I am starting to.

The screen is nice. Still small obvioulsly, but I'm fnding it's a nice way to read a little news while I'm somewhere waiting on something or someone.

Mostly I wanted the access for the times I'm away from my computer for extended periods of time. I figure if a client needs me for any reason I can at least find out why and respond. I think I can set up a VPN over the phone line too and access a server if I need to make a quick change.

Funny too, because about a half hour after I replied above I found a different article over the phone about gmail mobile and it sounds better than accessing the mail through the broswer. Sounds like a nice interface and quicker.
