Is the new Barnes and Noble Nook tablet any good? This one has Android 2.3 Gingerbread at its core. I've never held one but I've read good reviews about it being better than Kindle Fire. Is this true?
Why pick Nook over Fire?

I have a 7" unbranded tablet (probably made in the same factory with the same components) running Android 2.2 with a Kindle reader and Audible's audio book reader that was half the price of the Nook.

Why bother with paying more for the same thing with a brand on it??

Hmm okay, for some reason I trust Chris so no-to-Nook then.

Maybe I should go to Taiwan or HongKong to purchase an unbranded tablet or a cheaper brand with similar components. How do I know which to choose?
Android 2.2 or 2.3 core and what else should I look for as its features? Can someone provide a list please? Thanks heaps!
