It is a BETA version that will stop working when the release candidate is out.
PLUS as BETA software there will be bugs and glitches in it.

The BETA has only just been released for testing purposes. Only when it gets to RC2 or RC3 will prices start to be available.

The bugs and the probability of crashing with the Beta versions of Microsoft products are really a matter of serious annoyance. So, it's better that we wait for the original version to come out.
Beta versions ARE the "original" (actually Alpha versions are the "original" but they never get out of the developers territory.
What you really mean is the Release Candidate (RC) versions, which is when the "betas" have been deemed stable enough for wider public testing.

I've downloaded the beta version and it works seamlessly for me. No crashes, glitches, anything. Only thing I would have to complain about is that on opening it each time, you get the box letting you know that it's not activated.
