I don't know about you guys but I think it is about time that Verizon started offering the iPhone. I know that AT&T has exclusive rights but that should end soon. If anyone has any info on this happening this is the place to share it. I know that I really want an iPhone but am not willing to use AT&T.

That would be nice, I like the iPhone but I'm just fine with my Blackberry Storm, just my preference since I've had it for 4-6 months now, I'd probably keep this over an iPhone. I do love iPhones though and agree Verizon should put something together and start selling iPhones since quite a few Verizon customers enjoy the iPhone.

Apple originally offered the iPhone to Verizon and Verizon turned it down. At the moment there's an exclusive contract between AT&T and Apple until sometime next summer I think. In time it's likely the iPhone will be available to other cell networks, but right now there seems to be a bit of bad blood brewing between Verizon and Apple over their recent ads.

This isn't a matter of Verizon just decides to offer the iPhone. They do have to want to offer it, but they also need to work out a deal with Apple.
