No-one else has mentioned it, whether it is because no-one is bothered or they just despise Apple but the next version of Mac OS X is going to be released on the 26th October. It's codenamed Leopard, following in the footsteps of it's predecessors by using a wild cat name (Cheetah, Puma, Jaguar, Panther and up till now Tiger).

It promises to include more features including "Time Machine", a Mac version of System Restore, a more 3D interface and most importantly, the final version of Bootcamp which allows Windows to be ran on a Mac.

The full BBC news story is here, while Wikipedia has an article on the OS here.
