Hey everyone!

I have seen this done on many forums, were they have like a member of the month contest, and people get to put in a vote and either a moderator or admin counts them up then names the member of the month.

What do you you think tim?

Hey crow,
You could do one of these two ways.

1. Just allow members to vote for sombody who they feel was really helpful and friendly. (vote mean posting with there nomination)

2. Have tim or a moderator Go around and Pick how ever many members they want (these members ofcourse were picked by their helpfullness, and how nice they were ect... you know) and post them with a Poll and allow visitors to vote for them.

2 sounds like a better idea than 1, There are a lot of helpfull people here it could be hard to pick!

I agree there are alot of good members to choice from. I think 2 is better to.

It would be very cool though, The member of the month could have like a special avatar or somthing

Tim,
If you do go with member of the month, I think it should be a member who has gone above and beyond. It would make it easier to pick someone, because thier are a lot of helpful members here.

We're discussing it. Due to the animal rights, we won't be able to have a user of the month that has an animal or bird username. I'm just messing with you Crow!

A poll would probably be the best way to vote since each person can only vote once and it keeps really good track of the votes.

Dave,
I really don't think I help enough to be included so animal rights are ok.

I think we should look at how helpful members are not how many posts they have. Thier are some very helpful members who arn't in the top twenty.
