Regarding a post..

I made a post about the subject line from a piece of SPAM that I received. I did not include any URLs or details about the email, because I didn't even read the email. I posted the subject line in Jokes, Fun Stuff & a Little Inspiration.

Yet, it got moved into The SPAM Can. You can see it:

What's up with that? Are people not allowed to say SPAM? Or is making reference to SPAM evil? Or is it that I said that Spammers suck?

jonathan, i moved the thread to spam can.

it is not that ppl are not allowed to talk abt spam.

you can speak abt them.

spam is a spam and will always be one regardless of what the subject line says.

plus the fact that it did not belong to the jokes forum so i moved it there.

it is like givin unwanted attention and publicity about these stupid things..

i/we appreciate your concern regarding spam. we all feel the same way as you do.
but givin them our time and wasting time on them is really unwanted and this sort of encourages them.

thats y i moved the thread, also to make ppl aware of the post (and ur concern for it) i left the redirect in the jokes forum.

also on a side note, if you look at the subject line of ur post - it does not say anything . it is as if another spam post.

hope u get the reason as to why it was moved.

I personally didn't see a problem with the post.

Basically you were making a joke about a piece of SPAM you received.

However, you could have used a different subject so that it didnt look like SPAM itself.

Anyway, lets just let it stay where it is (in the Spam can) and move on
