Two tumbs up

Just curious, I posted a thread in the website review section and it said it was awaiting the moderation que, but now it is gone. Is it still in the system waiting for moderation or will I have to submit it again?

The information has moved. Up at the top of the forum near "Forum Tools" and "Search this Forum", you will see "View Posting Overview". Click it, and it will reveal some extra information.

It will also show you your deleted threads or posts, with a reason, incase it was deleted. This information is available in all forums by the way, not only in the site review forum.

I like the new system (and its workings) however, I prefer the old style better. The edit post function is the best I have ever seen. This is one-up on IPB.

Sorry, but I’m with CAL on this one. I honestly don’t like it, the other template was much, much better.

Thanks for the input guys. Nothing is set in stone.

When you say you don't like it, basically I assume you mean the header and or the colors? The basic layout is pretty much the same except that the sidebar was removed from all the pages except the homepage (which I would assume everyone would like).

I like the design, but think it may be a little to glossy with colors that are to light. We will work on things...

I like the new features - especially the edit post and the quick reply change. The things don't like so far:

1. I'm not wild about the colors - but they will probably grow on my.

2. The rules not displaying unless you click the "view posting overview" - I
think this could lead to a lot of newbies not reading the rules because
they don't see them.

I think the admin would be best shoving this site in the Website Reviews section. Then, I would feel at home making an-over complex review

I really like the new design. Glossy is good, bring on the blue glass
I'm reasonably happy with the colours, although I would possibly ease up a bit on the cyan - the header and the gradients on top of the page elements could do with being a tad more subdued, closer to the old WT blue (like the blue colour of the text in most of the buttons on the site).

Im with everyone here, the features are great, the color scheme ehhhh....

The new logo is def. very cool and I like it...However I also feel there is to much cyan...dont get me wrong I like the glassy it just seems almost to bright...

To be honest I think the other template seemend more professional then this one...

You guys run one heck of a good forum so I'm sure you'll make it look good...

Keep up the good work

oh and btw what happend to the view replyless threads????

Am with most of the people as above: love the forum, but prefer the old one in several ways.

For me, the header looks too "templatey" - I see that sort of header everywhere! Would be nice to subdue the colours slightly.

Since everybody's evediently happy with the workings of the forum, why not have a sticky poll regarding the colours/design of the forum? Also, would it be out of the question to have something more like the old layout on css? I.e. a button to change the styles to a more subdued look?

I am closing this thread and moving to the "suggestion and feedback" forum because we have three different discussions about the new design going on.

Please provide further feedback in this thread
