Site too slow

Recently received an warning email from the email for those who seldom or never post in this forum. i used to post frequently in this forum when i just join this forum. but the problem i noteced is all of the pages load too slow. at least 10 second, average around 20 seconds per page. take note that i am using ISDN line. i think will be more slower for those 56k users. pls, admin, do something about this.

Site seems quite fast for me (ADSL in UK). Very fast pings (125ms for most of the hops). The slowest I got was:

25 178 ms 247 ms 302 ms 64.46.99.143

which just happens to be the IP of WMT.

Perhaps there is a slow link just before reaching the board causing you problems....

I use a cable connection and it loads very fast for me.

However one of the reasons the site has loaded slow in the past is because I use adrotator to serve our banners. If there site is slow or down, it will slow us down also (because this site is try to load the banners at the same time).

I'll see what other solutions I can implement.

If the site is loading slow for you, I am almost positive this is why.

Yes it is that banner rotator. every time I have problems with pages loading it is because of that as I see it in the status bar...

Chief, PM me if you want a most excellent PHP banner rotator. I know where you can get one and it is great. Shows stats and everything.

Of course it doesn't have a log in area for advertisers. If that is something you would want I can point you in the right direction but I have not used it before.

The one I use though is great. Shows stats and everything for the ads.

Back on topic though, I have cable and I have noticed that the pages do load slower sometimes.
