Hi!

It would be great to have a mobile version of Tycoon Talk to have a easier reading of our forum in the tablets and smartphones.

Tip: why not to add this Great Forum to Tapatalk or other similar app?

Would like to read your opinions about this

Sounds great, but it's a lot of work to redo the forum skin. I think the latest version of vBulletin makes everything more mobile friendly by default, though I don't think we've upgraded to the latest version yet. It's only been out a few days or a week at most.

Actually vBulletin 4 was released to the public in December 2009 but the take up is fairly slow because it is still a resource hogging, unstable heap of crap, but on the plus side it can only get better!

I didn't mean vBulletin 4 in general, though I think it did add better mobile support or tried to. I received an email last week about the latest point update that mentioned a better mobile design or something like that. I haven't had a chance to check the email in detail yet.

I don't think we're on 4.x here anyway. Unfortunately that's not something any of us on staff can change. We'll have to wait for those with more access to upgrade the forum.

The suggestion is very innovative but to be the honest I would always prefer visiting TycoonTalk through my computer only. After all we all are not here for just reading.

It looks like the mobile version isn't a free upgrade. It's another paid version of the software so I'm guessing that won't be happening any time soon.
