Here's my suggestion for this forum:

Could you guys please move this forum closer to the bottom of the page? Though this is indeed a very important forum, it isn't exactly one of our most frequented. I'm sure most of the users will be able to find this forum even if it was placed at the bottom. We could then stick Site News and Announcements at the top of "Community Talk".

I'm suggesting this because I think the webmaster sections need to be shifted upwards so that new users will see that we do indeed value website talk a great deal. We want to be a community based upon webmaster discussions, not a community based upon suggestions for a forum.

I was looking at several different forums, not that there is any required order, but it's actually handled differently all over.

Seems like most have the news, rules, and announcements near the top (but not all). Some have the suggestions with it, and some the suggestions at the bottom.

Some have the Community part near the bottom and some near the top. It does seem like it's better to have the Community near the bottom, but then again it's nice to come in, kick up your feet for a moment, before getting to the working section.

So, my awe inspiring conclusion is.....well....I really don't have a conclusion on which is better. I can see "goods" both ways.

Maybe more have an opinion on this?

im pretty used to this format already, its a great idea to include it at the bottom but i also agree with Dave's kick back theory.

In conclusion, i say we leave it how it is. although, if changed, it would really not be that big a deal. of course id have to get used to that then.

I see good and bad reasons to move it also. It kind of depends what perspective you look at it. At the top, it shows that we do value input from our members. But at the bottom would bring some of the actual webmaster related discussions a little closer to the top...

Anyone else have an opinion on this?
