so sick of people spamming PM via this site

Please forward the PM spam to me or one of the mods otherwise there is little we can do except turn off the PM all together...

I've never been PM spammed on Webmaster-talk, either....let's keep it that way

I have had this problem here before but it was only due to my political inclinations. So, I was wondering what was the nature of these PM's, if its not personal.

Forward the PM onto us like Tim said and we'll deal with the users accordingly. Make note that you can ignore a user by clicking "Add [username] to Your Ignore List" on their profile page.

PM spam shouldn't be too much of a problem to get rid of, since people can either be ignored or banned from the forum altogether.

I've been lucky as well; no spam to complain about so far!

Are they just spamming you or are they just trying to talk you into signing up with one of their services?

I myself contacted maybee 5 people here VIA PM but it usually is in responce to requests or replies to my own topics

I have not though recieved any Spam PMs so I guess I am lucky

its been members with 1 or 2 total posts, generally trying to ask if i want to sign up w/ their service and / or buy ad space from them

as tim said, forward the msgs to the admins and it will be taken care of..

Dont reply to those msgs..
