New Directory

Just started a new directory http://www.sertchy.com I realize the concept isnt new (I am not even sure how original the layout is) but as I am sure everyone knows, you cant have your website submitted in to many directories. You can submit your website for free, no recipricol link required.

In efforts to be helpful, I experienced a slow response time from your site. It wasn't unbearable but you'd probably lose some surfers before your site loaded. Anyone else get this slow response?

Siggy, I did not experience any slow response time. I am on a cable modem but it loaded in about 1 second for me. Youe directory looks very nice. I went ahead and submitted submitted my site. If you need a backlink feel free to submit to my directory in my signature. Good luck!

Its just fine loading in here..IMO, much better if you can use real live link rather than redirected links for your site to attract more submissions.

I am working on using real url as oppossed to redirects. This was a pre-made script, it may take me some time to more search engine freindly URL's, but it will definately happen!

Well that was easy, all I had to do was replace 1 line of code... I know have normal URL's instead of redirects.

As far as the site loading slowly, I think it has to do with the adbrite ads... i dont recall having that problem prior to adfding adbrite to my page. Sometimes it loads normal sometimes its slow. Im currently looking for alternatives to adbrite to avoid this problem. (adsense rejected my application, and I have not heard back from yahoo on their beta program)

Just one bit of advice, comment is spelt wrong in a couple of places

It was fast for me. There is a misspelling (in bold) you may want to fix as mentioned by Cagedweb (who misspelled "spelled")

It's under the listings like:
(Hits: 0 Visit: 0 Poll Num: 0 Commnet: 0 Poll Ave...

Should be "comment" or "comments".
