What do you mean by "no response"?? You have had no hits from these directories? Or you have just not had a reply that your site has been accepted? Not all directories inform you that your site has been accepted. And if you mean "no hits", then 1 month being stuck amongst god knows how many other links wouldn't be much cause for concern, unless you paid for featured listings, then it would be strange to have no hits at all.
