Facebook is planning to unveil their new internet-based email service designed to compete directly against Google's Gmail. People are already speculating the new Email Service as the Gmail killer.
The email service is to be a fully-developed webmail client that may be intertwined with its popular photos and events applications.

Is this true? It seems like it is this would be one of those things that sounds like a good idea but would be hard to do. Thanks for the info, I always like tobe ahead ot the curve!

probably well behind in this case, I've been getting "Get your facebook email adress NOW" "nags" for a few months now.

I think its a good move on Facebook. It will truly engage the user to the business.
