Facebook bring more traffic to my site compare to twitter. Facebook fan page and timeline work really well which have lot of app and feature that help your post , fan page and event to promote and go viral . Facebook sometime it look more like a forum or a website .
Twitter yet can't do much while most of traffic prefer look and study for information compare to Facebook.

This services have different goals and tasks. But all in all they are good for sites promotion.

A person can follolw you and make retweets on Twitter. And this stuff is very useful in internet marketing.

Facebook and Twitter are made for different users or audiences.

Facebook is mostly used for friends interaction.
On the other hand Twitter is for professionals.

Twitter is better than facebook in seo point of view but i like to use LinkedIn that is really giving me tons of traffic.

Both are different for getting your name out there. Facebook lets you target specific groups of people while Twitter gives you wide spread exposure. Facebook lets you release more information while Twitter only gives you snippets.
