There is no "best" social media tool. There is no "one size fits all" tool for promoting a site.

As Chris said, the BEST thing you can do is create the best site you possibly can with great content. This is a pre-requisite for promoting any site. You need to give people a reason to want to talk about and link to your site.

I'm a big fan of StumbleUpon and Facebook. Those seem to work best for Cash Flow Sherpas.

You should use www.socialkik.com to buy Twitter followers ... we purchased 10,000 Twitter followers from them and we're quite satisfied with the results. It was the best marketing and adverting expense that we spent to date. Sales are going through the roof simply because we have a 10K audience on Twitter.

There are tools of social media monitoring on internet.But mention that you can use it just for social media to which you have a username and password.You can use both Facebook and Twitter.Facebook is by far the most effective in my opinion.It has a lot of APIs so you can communicate with your customers and your clients to connect to their friends.

I use Facebook and Twitter both to get immense traffic to my websites. I keep on joining different social networks and I do not bother even how small or big those networks are. If you want a quick response then Facebook is really a wonderful place. I am using this method to make more and more friends on facebook.

YouTube is a really fun site to use.

You could use ping.fm to increase soome traffic .but then also you need a lot of good content to post there.

Facebook is one of the best social networks to find people. While Facebook profiles can not be changed, the platform is very smooth and clean. Facebook is focused on the interaction. If you are looking for a friend in Dubai, just might find them on Facebook. And thus increase traffic.

There no such best tools as such. It is more meaningful to get targeted traffic rather than bulk traffic. My advice would be to participate in niche forums and social sites.
technology bloggers can target techmeme while internet marketing guys can promote their blogs on Sphinn and SERPD. It is better to participate in niche social sites and get targetted traffic instead of getting amused by bulk useless traffic.
